ZarNam Intellectual knowledge-based research center began its activity in 2012 (1391) with the aim of developing food science and industry, performing research and educational plans, attempting to recognize the individuals' talents in food industry and relevant science in the country's educated community. By a knowledge-based approach, this center has had a noticeable function in research by attending technical firs, seminars and congresses. It has put the publication of the technical books in wheat and pasta science, the cooperation with universities and science centers, and the support of the masters' theses at the top of its schedule.

ZarNam intellectual knowledge-based research center is the first research center of the country which could achieve the research patent.
